Here’s my first bento box ever. Bentos are traditional Japanese lunch boxes that contain a variety of food and are often nicely decorated. I have no experience with traditional Japanese food other than the occasional take-out sushi, so I filled the box with more common stuff. The largest compartment contains fried rice and is decorated with cucumbers and hard cheese (I used cookie cutters for these). In the back, I put a hearty salad and a fruit salad with almonds and a small piece of chocolate.
Here’s a bento instructable.
